For one of our customers, manufacturer of steel plants, during the development of a new steel line at the forefront for efficiency and automation, we have designed and manufactured two huge spring applied hydraulic toothed clutches, instead of the traditional claw cluctches. The customer need was to change the set-up of the machine reducing the downtimes and without the need of operators. The realised solution allows a safety engagement and a rapid disengagement through remot control.
