SAE Flanged Pneumatic Claw Coupling

The DPG07/HT-SAE Pneumatic Toothed Coupling is used to connect the ICE engine to the electric motor in a hybrid powertrain of a railway locomotive when necessary; the connection is made directly on the torsional joint of the engine flywheel using an SAE flange.

Special shielded bearings for high speeds allow a maximum speed of 2000 rpm to be reached, developing up to 6000 Nm with a supply of only 6 bar.
